We build and sell the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product Tideways. Our software provides application performance management, exception tracking and profiling functionality for PHP applications and is used by over 500 customers worldwide.
Tideways was founded in 2016 and is a self-funded company, growing fast from customer revenue alone. Our team is currently 4 full- and 2 part-time employees small and our goal is to build a sustainable, transparent business with a focus on the long-term.
How We Work
We are headquartered in Bonn, Germany with an office, but everyone is free to choose working from the office or from a remote location anywhere in Germany. Our hybrid approach aims to combine the flexibility of remote work with the communication efficiency gained by personal, on-premise contact.
All work projects are mostly discussed asynchronously on our company chat (Slack), message boards and issue tracker (Github) and few meetings happen (via Zoom due to the pandemic) throughout the week.
Everyone has the flexibility to choose their own working hours throughout the day to incorporate their job at Tideways into their life. Our work week has 40 hours and overtime is the exception and usually balanced out by time off within a week or month.
