Tempest 2 Support

With Extension 5.34.0, Tideways now ships automatic instrumentation for the Tempest framework, one of the newer frameworks in the PHP ecosystem.

This includes automatic detection of controllers as transaction names, automatic instrumentation of framework exception handlers to collect errors, and creating template engine and event spans for added context.

As we aim to support a vast array of frameworks and libraries with automatic instrumentation, we are happy to add another to the list.

We consider new libraries and frameworks a sign of a healthy and innovative PHP ecosystem and are happy to add support for them.
